DermActiv is an innovative product on the veterinary market. Thanks to
the combination of many beneficial substances it supports the proper
functioning of skin and coat and ensures its healthy appearance.
The composition of the product has been precisely designed on the basis of availabl e scientific literature and is based on fatty acids (EPA, DHA,
GLA) from two sources: fish oil and borage oil, vitamins (A, E, B–Complex), minerals (zinc, iron), amino acids (L–methionine and L–cysteine)
and plant extracts (lavender, field horsetail, thistle, nettle, wild pansy,
chaste).
Omega–3 fatty acids (source of EPA and DHA) – have an influence
on correct skin hydration and show favourable effects in case of skin
changes induced by UV radiation. EPA and DHA acids significantly reduce
pro–inflammatory substances secreted under the influence of ultraviolet
light. They have a protective effect, reduce the effects of sunburn, support repair processes and soothe irritation. Their deficiency causes that
the natural immunity of the skin is significantly weakened.
Microencapsulated borage oil (sources of GLA) – has a positive
effect on skin hydration, elasticity, density, roughness and resistance to
fatigue. The deficiency of y–linolenic acid is associated with the occurrence of many skin conditions, including excessive dryness.
Horsetail extract – contains flavonoids and silicon compounds that
nourish and regenerate the animal's skin. Horsetail accelerates wound
healing and protects against excessive hair loss. It cleanses the skin,
strengthens the epidermal layer and helps healing minor skin injuries.
