CITROACTIV B6

RECOMMENDATION OF USE:
•     support of proper nutrition in animals with a tendency to appear
oxalate stones in the urinary tract,
•     prevention of infections within the urinary tract,
•     for conditions requiring urinary alkalinisation.
Citroactiv B6 is a product supporting reduction of the formation of
oxalate–calcium stones and ensuring optimal levels of magnesium and
potassium in the blood.
The ingredients contained in the CitroActiv B6 product perform a number of functions:
Potassium citrate and magnesium potassium citrate – act asinhibitors of crystallisation and oxalate deposit formation. Orally administered
potassium citrate binds calcium and forms water–soluble calcium citrate. It mildly alkalinises the urine, which aids the dissolution of calcium
oxalates.
Vitamine B6 (pyridoxine) – the vitamin B6 contained in the product
compensates for possible deficiencies of this vitamin, which reduces
endogenous production of oxalic acid and has a prophylactic effect on
oxalate lithiasis.
