ACID Balance is a product containing two natural antacid compounds:
calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. These are alkaline salts
that, when reacting with HCL, transform it into water and mineral salts.
Calcium carbonate has a fast and strong neutralizing effect, while
magnesium carbonate enhances the action of calcium carbonate.
Both salts support the protection of the mucosa of the esophagus,
stomach and duodenum against the damaging effects of gastric juice.
They are commonly used as support during hyperacidity (increased content of hydrochloric acid in gastric acid), which is accompanied by side
effects and disorders such as heartburn, chronic bloating, or stomach
and intestinal ulcers. The other ingredients of the product, such as starch
and inulin, have a protective effect on the gastric mucosa. The green tea
extract demonstrates antioxidant activity, and also supports the treatment of the digestive system inflammations.
