Product Details

VISLY BCAA is one of the food supplements that stimulates protein synthesis, improves endurance, increases testosterone and decreases cortisol, and increases insulin secretion . The BCAA group (branched chain amino acid) consists of three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. Named after their chemical structure, these amino acids have a side chain that contains one carbon. BCAA are essential amino acids, our body cannot synthesize them and must be obtained from diet. Like other amino acids, they are the basic building blocks of proteins and are therefore essential for life. However, they also have some very specific signaling functions that give them a very important role in the control of metabolism.

  • BCAA stimulates protein synthesisImproved stamina
  • Low in Fat and Carbohydrates – Ideal for Low-Carb or Low-Fat Diets
  • Increase testosterone and decrease cortisol
  • BCAAs increase insulin secretion

One of the main roles of BCAA is to stimulate amino acid absorption by cells and protein synthesis. This role is so proven that it is given to hospitalized patients to reduce muscle wasting. Of course, bodybuilders and athletes use BCAAs to maximize muscle building from training.

Recent studies have shown that leucine interacts with and activates the mTOR pathway in cells. mTOR is a pathway that functions as a cellular nutrient sensor among other roles. High levels of leucine are interpreted as high levels of total nutrients and are an indication that the environment is suitable for increased protein synthesis and growth. Leucine activates the mTOR pathway, which in turn activates other proteins, such as initiation factors, which must be activated on ribosomes to initiate protein synthesis.

BCAAs also activate genes that code for ribosomal proteins. Ribosomes are tiny intracellular organelles where protein synthesis takes place. As a result of increasing BCAA levels, more ribosomes are made inside the cells.

In summary, BCAA amino acids, especially leucine, acting through the mTOR complex, increase the level of protein synthesis in two ways. By increasing the number of ribosomes, they increase the capacity of cells to synthesize proteins, and by activating the factors that control it, they stimulate translation. As everyone knows, increased protein synthesis in muscle cells leads to increased muscle mass.

The property of stimulating protein synthesis of BCAAs is also very important in a low-calorie diet. One of the problems with trying to lose weight is that muscle mass is lost as well as fat. BCAAs work to preserve muscle when calories are restricted, leading to more fat burning and a higher muscle-to-fat ratio.

The vast majority of amino acids can only be metabolized in the liver. Alternatively, BCAA amino acids can be directly metabolized for energy in muscle cells. Loading muscles with BCAAs before exercise has been shown in scientific studies to improve performance and endurance. This is probably because they increase the amount of fuel immediately available to cells, which can be converted into ATP, which in turn provides energy for muscle contractions. It is a well-known fact that BCAAs are severely depleted during exercise. This probably happens because they are used as fuel.
